MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT SUSAN:
Hello again, Rotarians!
A wonderful presentation on Customer Service from our guest speaker Beth Boen, was the highlight of last Wednesday’s Rotary meeting. Twenty Rotarians turned out for her presentation, and no one left disappointed.
This Wednesday, April 14, our guest presenter will be Michael Jackson, who will share his experiences around the challenges and opportunities he personally experienced after suffering “stroke aphasia.”
Stroke aphasia is life-debilitating, and many, never recover. Michael will share personal insight into how he turned this unexpected and challenging illness into life opportunities.
Rotary goes live on April 21! Plan to join us at the Englewood PD community room, located at 3615 S. Elati Street. Public parking is located on Elati.
Our meeting begins at noon, with box lunches. Deputy Police Chief Sam Watson, will provide a review of the city’s challenges over the past year during the pandemic.
See you all this Wednesday at 1 PM!

LUNCH AT THE PD!
Hey, I made myself in charge of getting lunch for us next week. The plan is to order from Jimmy Johns. For those of us with special dietary needs, I can be flexible. Please let me know if you need vegetarian or gluten-free.

Our world is changing. . .
We are so grateful that vaccines have arrived, and we can move about with greater freedom. Most of us in the club have indeed been vaccinated. We expect to move to in-person meetings regularly.
This week, we'll be in the fantastic community room of the Englewood Police. We'll be masked except for eating.
The following week President Susan is proposing an evening Happy Hour/Dinner at the White Chocolate Grill.
And then after that. . . we're working on it. That's why you'll see in the calendar "Regular Meeting TBA." The TBA detail is WHERE! I'll update the calendar as soon as we decide. -- Patty
