Free fun for a good cause
Rotarians, your Board of Directors has allocated $2,000 to helping Integrated Family Community Services (IFCS, formerly Inter-Faith) by supporting its main fund-raiser, Nibbles and Sips.
This fun event -- imagine a fantastic silent auction, and the opportunity to taste wines, beers, spirits and yummy food from local restaurants -- will be Saturday, Feb. 24, from 5 to 9 p.m., at the beautifully redecorated Denver Marriott Tech Center.
We will be a Silver Sponsor and will have two tables of 10. This will be a great opportunity for Rotary camaraderie, while helping IFCS, which is the largest nonprofit social service agency serving our side of Arapahoe County, and a little beyond.
For our new members: IFCS helps families and seniors who need financial support, food, clothing, referrals, housing and more. It is staffed with professional case workers who shepherd clients through their difficult times.
We will be doing this event instead of our final week happy hour. There is no cost to you or your guests.

We're skipping during the week of the Martin Luther King holiday and because January will have five Wednesdays.
