MESSAGE FROM
PREZ PATTY
In my (long) experience, there's always the chance of a program falling through, and my waking up on Monday and realizing I'm up the creek without a speaker. That happened this week.
Thankfully, Shawn reached out to Arapahoe Commissioner Carrie Warren-Gully, and she was miraculously able to jockey her schedule to come speak to us tomorrow.
Carrie is in her first term on the Board of Commissioners. I encourage you to check out her bio, her platform and her list of duties as commissioner. Wow and whew!

Two members of the girls basketball team have been accepted for RYLA. They're very excited. We have a third girl who would be great, but I can't get any more slots. I'll ask around if another club has more slots than students. Cross your fingers.
We also have accepted a seventh grade boy from Englewood Middle School for Young RYLA. I have one more slot there. Application time has been extended, so I'm hopeful we'll get one more.
See you tomorrow. We're having a Neo Med Chicken -- marinated chicken over lemon-pepper rice and a Greek-ish salad. Desserts, as always. Yum.
