Hey Englewood Rotarians,
Just a few reminders: There is no regular meeting this Wed Aug. 29 due to happy hour at Cherry Creek Reservoir. Sep. 5 is dark so no meeting then. There is also no regular meeting Sep. 12 due to happy hour at Bruce and Linda’s home. (When do we ever get any work done?)
Mike and Katherine Dow are hosting a get-acquainted event at their home on Mon. Sep. 3 (Labor Day) from 2 to 4 PM in honor of Raphael, the exchange student. Please plan to attend and meet Raphael.
We are co-hosting Raphael with Centennial Rotary, whose members also are coming to the party.
Please bring an appetizer and beverage. RSVP to Patty, paburnett@aol.com. She'll send out an email later today with their address and parking instructions. (They live in a beautiful townhome across Yosemite from the Arapahoe Light Rail station.)
There are two themes to focus on between now and the Sep. 21 fundraiser: (1) INVITE ACQUAINTANCES; and (2) INVITE ACQUAINTANCES. To reach our goal of 100 attendees, we ask ALL members to attend and bring a guest. We are shaping this event to be a premier fundraiser for the club to benefit all our charitable projects. Sign up online or RSVP to Ed or pay at door ($50 per person). Thanks to everyone who has donated silent auction items.
