Everyone loves Frank, and we get to express that love and appreciation for all he does by honoring him as Rotarian of the Year. He will be recognized at the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce Service Club Luncheon Tuesday, Oct. 31. There is so much to say about Frank and his devotion to Rotary, how he lives the Four-Way Test, and his many accomplishments within and beyond the Rotary world. He was a beloved District Governor. And in our club he has spearheaded the holiday party for Head Start kids for 17 years (I think it's more than that, but that's what Frank says now). This year we'll be providing 65 preschoolers with winter clothing and toys. So mark these dates on your calendars: Service Club Luncheon: Tuesday, Oct. 31, 11:30-1:30, Brookdale Meridian Englewood No regular meeting the next day, Nov. 1. We want a good turnout for the Service Club lunch. Holiday party for Head Start kids: Friday, Dec. 8; try to arrive between 11 and 11:30 -- Patty |
