MESSAGE FROM
PREZ PATTY

Rotarians and Friends, Saturday is our Peach Victory Day. As you heard from Josh, the truck won't be arriving until later than usual because of the closure of I-70 between here and the Palisade groves.

Plan on picking up your peaches between 11:30 and 2 in the circle drive at the Englewood Civic Center. Volunteers might want to arrive a little earlier. There definitely is some uncertainty about the travel time for the big truck.

Josh and Paula have done a great job organizing the peach sale, and you members have sold a lot of peaches. We'll have numbers for you next week, but success will mean we have some money to spend on good deeds.

Wednesday's meeting should be fun. I am reinstating "Table Talk," which is a fun approach to getting to know each other better. At each table there will be an instruction sheet on how to structure the Table Talks. Each person will give a summary of his/her professional and answer two of the questions on the sheet. Then the next person goes.

FYI, we have cancelled the Dinners for 6 planned for the end of this month. Turned out, too many of us had vacation plans then. I'll schedule it again later in the year.

We'll do a happy hour on Aug. 25 instead. I hope to have an Englewood location.

See you manana, Patty
