Satellite clubs are an innovative way to widen the reach of Rotary, and we have a chance next week to examine how our own club might get involved. Our District Membership Chair Debi Bush and her task force are hosting a Satellite Summit Monday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Daniels Fund.
With membership being a major focus for our RI President Gary Huang and of course our district, District Governor Peter Ewing urges all clubs to have representation at this meeting that will be filled with sharing best practices of clubs with satellite groups.
Clubs with satellite groups will be represented as well as clubs who are still very curious about satellites and wondering if forming a satellite makes sense for their respective club in growing and strengthening membership.
