Dear Club members,
As a follow up from last week’s message, you should know that our Board will be discussing at the upcoming Board meeting, the current and projected number of members for the 2020-2021 year, fund-raising activities, member projected contributions to the Rotary Foundation and Polio Plus Fund, and projects that the Club should be involved with for next year. These goals will need to be submitted to the District Offices by May 1 to meet District requirements.
We will be using the information from last year’s member survey by Linda Spear to help us in our projections, but we will be counting on you to give us your thoughts about these items as we respond to the District Leadership and put together a plan for next year.
Please give these issues some consideration and give your thoughts to one of our Board members so we can best discuss these issues at the upcoming Board meeting. (Also, all board meetings are open to all members.)
It is exciting that we will have two of our new members talk about their backgrounds and interest in Rotary at the upcoming meeting. These talks by new and existing members should help us stimulate some thoughts about how we as Englewood Rotarians can bring in new members like Shawn, Scott, Jake and Lee in this next year.
Thank you for your membership in the Englewood Rotary Club. Please help us all continue to look for ways to improve our Club during this upcoming year.
--Gary

Hooray! March is here, as the old saying goes “In like a lion and out like a lamb.” The trees are budding, and the tulips and daffodils will soon arrive! Let’s wish for more rain and less snow as we move closer to Spring.
Come to hear great vocational talks from our new members this Wednesday. I know it will be fascinating and insightful! -- Susan
