BRING YOUR LISTS!
We need your donations to the Englewood Rotary Holiday Fair and Auction. And we need your LISTS of what you're donating.
Susan is back from her travels and has been working diligently on categorizing donations, doing bid sheets and marking the $5, $10 and $20 items. She and her sisters stuffed 100 goodie bags for kids.
We were blessed with help from the school district's communication guru, and old friend of ours, Julie McGinley, who allowed us to put flyers, posters and some tickets in all the Englewood schools. Two schools promised to copy the flyers and send them home with all their students. Whoopee! Other schools will include them in their newsletters.
Vee is working on buying supplies for the food. Dawn and her daughter will be running the bar. Jane Staller, Bob B. and I will be taking credit card and cash payments. Franz will be our security guy, keeping an eye on the valuables for bid.
Bruce and Linda, and David and Pam, have brought their donations to my house, because they'll be out of town.
Patty Howe took photos of Susan and some of the memorabilia we'll be selling for use with articles I'll submit to the Englewood Herald, The Villager and Your Hub.
Josh and Jane have rounded up their donations and given the list to Susan, as have Bob and I. Josh has posted photos of some of our items in a slide show on our website and added a DONATE button.
Bob F. will help Susan ferry all her Stuff to The Guild on Event Day.
We have volunteers signed up for Event Day. Thanks, everyone. Glory will be taking photos at the fair.
It takes a village? No, it takes a club.

Cinderella City is back
-- as a program for us
Our speaker tomorrow is Josh Goldstein, the researcher whose video on Cinderella City we saw a month or so ago. He's coming with new material and the answers to your questions about this iconic shopping mall that once was the talk of the state.
