Kudos to Josh and Jane Staller for hosting our first in-person Club Gathering/Happy Hour at their lovely home in Heritage Greens.
It was a delightful to see and visit with club members again. Thank you Josh and Jane, we are grateful for your generosity in sharing your patio and beautiful yard with us.
I hope we can continue to meet occasionally in outside gatherings away from Zoom in the future.
Now, I wish to take this opportunity to thank Gary Sears for being our club president over the past six months. It has been a difficult time for the club, transitioning from on-site meetings to Zoom meetings. Gary has done a marvelous job making this happen. His superb talent to run our meetings and oversee the important issues faced by our club has kept us active and vibrant.
Thanks also to Patty Burnett, Josh Staller, and Linda Spear for the many things they’ve done behind the scenes to keep our meetings up and running.
Stay tuned, we have some exciting programs scheduled for the next several months.
This week Colleen Upton will provide a presentation on the “10 Greatest Gifts I Give My Children.”
On October 14 we will have a club meeting to review and discuss the recent survey findings.
And, on October 21st, Jo Feder from the League of Women voters, will be with us on Zoom to review the Colorado Amendments for the 2020 election.
Finally, we wish our President and The First Lady our best in their personal fight with COVID-19. Perhaps our country can begin to come together again.
