Bits and pieces:
1. Our speaker this week is Reeves Brown of Building a Better Colorado, which is a nonpartisan coalition that aspires to address our common challenges in a way that brings people together. Its leadership is a politically diverse group that shares the belief that Colorado can do better than the divisive arguments that have come to dominate our political discourse. The speaker, Reeves Brown, comes highly recommended by a friend of Patty's.
2. We are planning an IN-PERSON happy hour for the first time in six months! Josh and Jane Staller will host us in their backyard, weather permitting, on Wednesday, Sept. 30. It's an earlier time, 5:30-7:30 because sunset is coming earlier these days. Expect great care with social distancing, but fun and camaraderie. IN PERSON!
3. This is Frank's 50th year in Rotary. Can you believe it?!!! He says his father also was a 50-year Rotarian. We're planning a celebration and tribute. Still working on the date, place and other details. Stay tuned!
4. Gary and Susan have developed a great line-up of speakers through October. Susan is hoping members will suggest more.
