On Wednesday, January 6, the United States experienced a travesty that we never thought we would see in our lifetimes.
Our democracy has been shaken to the core because of what transpired, not only at the U.S Capitol, but the repercussions our country continues to experience due to social and political divisiveness.
As Rotarians, we recognize the need to accept differences, learn from other cultures, and work together for the common cause of preserving humanity.
I am optimistic in 2021, that America will begin to heal and our people will seek ways to come together again.
Thanks to all who attended the “Blossoms of Light” spectacular at the Botanic Gardens. I can say, it was an outstanding display enjoyed by everyone!
