Happy March!
We have a great program this week featuring Adam Robe, the executive director of Families First. Our member Glory has served on this organization's board for more than 10 years,
Families First provides services that strengthen families, empower parents, nurture children, and end the cycle of child abuse and neglect. We look forward to Adam's message.
Our Team of 3 Co-Presidents
As you know we have a unique plan for leadership next Rotary year. Three co-presidents -- Gary, Linda and Susan -- will share responsibility, working together but also splitting the year into three four-month segments. Up first is Linda, who just completed the Presidents-Elect Training Seminar. I'm sure she surprised many of her cohort about our unique plan. We'll hear from her Wednesday.
Oops. . . no program last time?
Gail Lehrmann was to talk with us about Polio Plus and annual giving to The Rotary Foundation. She sends her apologies. She was in the midst of planning a trip to help her elderly parents, in a frazzle that I totally understand, and she "spaced it."
I assured her that we have empathy for her situation and will get her back on the schedule in a month or two. I think Gail might have served a three-year term as district chair for the Foundation, and she has done an incredible job and has great passion for giving. She'll be back.
