Oops!
I got carried away yesterday, working on our fundraiser and forgot to do the bulletin! I was at Office Depot buying dots, for example. Our plan for the Holiday Fair is to have tables with items for $5, $10 and $20. We'll be marking them with colored dots.
Which causes me to say: We need a LOT more $5, $10 and $20 items. Everyone has something to donate -- knick-knacks that are sitting in a closet, kids toys you never gave away, dishes, figurines, vases, cookbooks, sports memorabilia. This is really important. We need your STUFF.
I've come to think of the fair a little like a special garage sale. So put that in your head and bring a note today saying how many $5, $10 and $20 items you can donate.
I'll have flyers and tickets today. We need to get the word out. I'll be looking for volunteers to take some to a school after the meeting.
We also have a great poster, which I had duplicated at Costco yesterday. Thank you, Spencer, for that tip.
We have high hopes for our Holiday Fair. Thanks for all you do for its success.
