Tomorrow will be our last meeting of the Rotary year! We'll be dark on Wednesday, June 22, but we'll be partying on July 1, celebrating the Rotary tradition of transitioning from one great year to the next great year, that one under the leadership of Shawn.
He has graciously invited us to him home for what I've often called the New Year's Party. It's Friday, July 1, from 6 to 8 at his home, 300 S. Marion, Englewood.
Please RSVP to paburnett@aol.com. I've had an email from Linda Jefschofnig, saying she and Peter are coming to the party, BUT SADLY this might be our last time together, as they are moving to Mexico. You gotta come to hear all about it. Spouses, partners, friends all invited, but please RSVP.
We will not have a board meeting, as previously announced. Too many key people out of town.
Our program tomorrow is by Sunny Weber, who was enthusiastically recommended by Bruce. I don't think the Spears will be there, though. I believe they're still showing Paris to a grandson. Sunny will speak to us about her nonprofit, Colorado Animal Protectors.
