See you at the next regular meeting Wed. Aug. 8. Speaker subject is Mobile Laundry Trucks with presenters Bud Laber and David Henninger.
Vee Sable and Dawn Shepard have successfully completed this year’s Backpacks for Bishop program. They purchased and delivered backpacks and school supplies for 14 Bishop School kindergarten kids. Kudos to them for their work and effort. Donations were well received and much appreciated.
Only four tickets left for the happy hour Eagles concert on Aug. 29 at Cherry Creek Reservoir. Contact Bruce or Ed. Pick up tickets from Bruce.

- OTHER JULY AND AUGUST ACTIVITY: Military Commanders in Colorado Springs will be screening and vetting needy families for military project support. Please plan to volunteer to purchase customized clothing and toys for needy military and veteran families during October. Please plan for and sign-up to participate in United Service Clubs golf tournament fundraiser September 28. August is a good time to consider a service or item to donate to the silent auction at the wine tasting fundraising Sep. 21. It benefits all our club projects.
