We’re excited! We have a fabulous and unique opportunity for you and your family. It’s the Englewood Rotary Holiday Fair where you’ll find collectibles, signed sports memorabilia, and a ton of fun stuff for kids.
Join us on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Guild, 3455 S. Inca St., Englewood (next to the Civic Center). We’ll have complimentary food and beverages. And the first 100 kids will get a free goodie bag of fun collectibles and toys valued at $10. Everyone gets a door prize ticket, too.
Our club is moving in a unique way not only to raise money for vocational scholarships, but to provide a venue that allows children to purchase amazing collectibles at affordable prices, to develop personal collections and hobbies of their own. It’s also a great place to buy gifts for the holidays! We will have $5, $10 and $20 tables, with a variety of silent auction items starting at $25.
Entry tickets are $5 per person or $10 per family. Groups (Scouts, churches, clubs) may be eligible for free tickets. We want lots of kids, who can “shop” our very affordable $5, $10 and $20 tables of action figures from Disney and Star Wars; comics, coins and stamps.
Sports fans will find items from $25 to $150 in a silent auction. We have signed baseball caps, photographs, and other sports memorabilia – think Olympics, Broncos, Avalanche, Rockies, Nuggets. We have signed first-edition books, and other one-of-a-kind items that will make excellent holiday gifts.
All proceeds from the holiday fair will help provide scholarships to colleges or trade schools for graduates of Englewood High School and Colorado’s Finest High School of Choice. Through our Englewood Rotary Foundation (a 501c3) in the last 15 years we have awarded $120,000 to Englewood students.
