WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW. . . 
Mike Mancuso, Ed's son-in-law, educated us on how to assess wine Sunday. Our wine-tasting/fund-raiser was fun, fun, fun! We also had wine education from Ed's daughter Theresa Mancuso and friend Lynn Cederquist, who is the smart Californian Rotarian who introduced Ed to us. 
We bestowed a Paul Harris Fellowship on Ed Koerperich, in appreciation of all he has done for the club in his first year -- serving on the board, creating and leading our Military and Veterans Appreciation and Support program/grant, and hosting Sunday's wine-tasting. Bob Burdick is our club's Rotary Foundation Chairman. 
 
Special thanks to Ed's family: Theresa, Mike, Chris, Molly and darling grandchildren who helped serve hors d' oeurves.  
NEXT WEEK: Frank finally gets that award --  Rotarian of the Year
