Amazon Smile rebates money to the club
We are signed up with Amazon Smile, which is like a frequent-flier status that rebates money to the club.
Here's how it works: You go to our website, www.rotaryclubofenglewood.org, and click on the icon that's right at the top. You sign up like you do for so many things online. Then, when you are ready to buy through Amazon, you start at the website and a portion of your spending will get deposited for the club -- actually to our Foundation, where it can be used only for charitable purposes.
Many of us buy via Amazon, and this is a painless way to contribute to the club in the process. Please try it!
Thank you, Josh, for setting this up for us.

We can help hold down conference costs
The organizers of this year's District 5450 annual conference have asked clubs to help subsidize the cost in order to keep the individual registrations under $300. Our board has approved half of the $250 request, hoping that individual members could come up with the rest. I'm still short $65, so I'm hoping some of you will pitch in.

Please note our schedule for March
Following our regular meeting next week, we will have a board meeting, which should be relatively short. New members, you are welcome to join us. Everyone is invited every board meeting.
Then we do not meet on March 22. We're going "dark," mostly to save a little money, with March having five Wednesdays. (Plus, Patty's having surgery the next day -- fell on the ice, rotator cuff.)
Glory has reserved Yak & Yeti for our Happy Hour on March 29, 6 to 8 p.m., 9755 E. Hampden Ave., Denver. Sounds yummy!
